4 days later: still a white screen.
White screens result from massive PHP/server problems, and problems like that are usually written to the log file of your webserver.
So, why don't you to share this log here?

Yes we need ftp details too. Please share your error_log file. Without ftp details we can't able to install.

If possible, please provide the error log of your webserver here.
It's of interest what can prevent an OSSN installation right from the start.

the database is new.

My php version is 5.6 i believe this is the newest? i added the line to the .htaccess (i created a ne htaccess, there was no one) but the white screen is still there :(
