how do i change the OSSN title at the top of the page to reflect my own social network so it don't say OPENSOURCE social network at the very top title (same line as login on the page)

That is actually an image. You will need to make a logo roughly 200x80 and put it in the folder http://mysite.com/themes/yourtheme/images/logo.jpg
