There are groups added for some additional talks amongst friends and all, but will there be events added where users can make, and invite others to their event that is being hosted?
Would a component have to be made separately, or would it have to be added to the main framework?

A separate component can be created i know the people who is currently developing a commercial components for Ossn : https://www.softlab24.com/contact Use a coupon #OSSN-MEMBER if they ask you (its 10% discount)
I have plan to create a free component but i don't have much time as i am working on new version v4.0 of Ossn.
