Did you already try the SMTP component, as suggested in my last posting?

Yes, You are absolutely right. I am also having the same issue.

It shows like this:

[email protected]; on behalf of; IHG <[email protected]>

where as, it should only show:

[email protected]

Please help.

Hmm... I don't know why it disappeared from the component list !?! ... but some months ago Arsalan developed a module allowing OSSN to connect to your host's smtp service directly. Instead of using the php mailer.

The module is available at https://github.com/opensource-socialnetwork/SMTP

If this still doesn't do the job, please file your problem to your hosting provider.

Zet Man @Seems I was testing my [email protected] hosted in the same server , was pointing out sender my -default mail but reply path **Site Notification Email account@mysite ** . but google or yahoo showing the sender as - account@mysite . Its pleasing .

But In details of the sender ( most user dont go for that- whatever ! ) it send my detail server address -

> X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: PHPMailer 5.2.7
> (https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/) MIME-Version: 1.0
> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding:
> 8bit Sender: <[email protected]> X-AntiAbuse: This
> header was added to track abuse, please include it with any abuse
> report X-AntiAbuse: Primary Hostname - My hosting.com
> X-AntiAbuse: Original Domain - gmail.com X-AntiAbuse:
> Originator/Caller UID/GID - [591 32007] / [47 12] X-AntiAbuse: Sender
> Address Domain - My site X-Get-Message-Sender-Via:
> My hosting.com: authenticatedid: my cpanel username/fromh X-Source:
> X-Source-Args: /usr/sbin/proxyexec -q -d -s
> /var/lib/proxyexec/cagefs.sock/socket /bin/cagefs.server
> X-Source-Dir:
> my primary domain.com:/public_html/mysite.com/system/handlers
> X-From-Rewrite: unmodified, already matched

From the same email address . when i send mail via webmail

> X-AntiAbuse: Sender Address Domain - mysite.com
> X-Get-Message-Sender-Via: hosting.com: authenticated_id: account@ mysite.com
> site

Its Ok !

the situation may be not bad for user side but . its making my cpanel account vulnerable .

Any way i can solve the issue !
its will be greatfull

Let me try to understand with an example:
- you own a valid domain with the name "blafasel.com"
- you have created a working user mailbox which can be addressed like "[email protected]"
- you have saved that SAME address in OSSN
admininistrator -> Basic Settings -> Site Notification Email

But the verification email sender address is NOT "[email protected]" - it's different?
