As you may have already noticed, Ossn is programmed to replace 2-character sequences like :)
or :(
with small images known as smileys or emoticons.
The interesting aspect is that the original smileys (see https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~sef/sefSmiley.htm) were in fact 3-character sequences like :-)
But the aspect of more interest is: Currently, Ossn doesn't replace these 3-character sequences - they're simply not recognized because of the additional nose included. Which may lead to the wrong assumption that Ossn isn't able to handle smileys in general.
And that's why I would like to know which type of smiley do you prefer? Are you more used to create 2-character smileys or the 3-character variants?
I would like to have eyebrows and maybe facial hair too on my smiley faces |:-)> Maybe something like that can be incorporated?
Just kidding. LOL
:)
most of the people use 2 char smileys
less characters for the desired affect is always more compact :)
I use :)
version ^_^
Personally, I Use the "No Nose" version, almost always, if not always.
although i Like the "Nose" version better, i still have never used it.
Cheers
