Company only social networking site

Is there a way to make it so my social network is not opened to the public but have it so only people in the company can join? I want it to be a company social network.

When you disable signup that mean only public users can not register.

Site administrator can add users from administrator panel -> Users -> Add User

email-invite everyone with an unique activation link to your OSSN, before you send your invitation, you have to make the activation link from username and password with md5 or something and a small php script file where the activation link goes to. This file register the users username and password in OSSN then they can login.

if you disable signup all together how can I add people from my company?

Thank you for your reply.

I only want it so only people in my company can register. Perhaps take away the sign up form and do it so I can invite people.
