we are trying to add an additional Textfield in signup form and add that into database.
So please tell us how to do it in detailed steps.

I have already seen the above link. But it did not help.
we want to add additional text field in sign up form which is saved in database and is shown in profile.
And the second part is when a user search for something in search bar it should also search that new text field content. For eg. When we write some name in LinkedIN search it gives result for people as well as Company if the name matches.
