You can setup smtp for mailing issues but please change to a good host

If something works on local but not on web hosting then your web hosting need be balamed.
1.) You have bad server https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/891/account-activation-email
2.) You have sessions issue on your server
3.) You have data permission on your server.
4.) You have database issue on your server
5.) You have bad server configuration.
