I just discovered that my posts are seriously limiited in size. I copied a text, pasted it into a textbox...realized that only about the first 20 lines were stored. How do I increase the size allowed in the textbox?

Please read:

In fact this turns out to be a good showcase how support may become really cumbersome, ineffective and lengthy if you don't follow the guidelines in https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/1101/how-to-report-a-bug
with your initial posting.
Now that we know your site url, it's clear:
Your're running the outdated unsupported 'oinitial' theme on Ossn 4.2
Switch to goblue, and you'll be fine.

You didn't switch off all 3rd party components before submittig your report neither.
Actually there's a compatibility issue between oinitial and your ReadMore component.
Either disable Readmore or run a fully supported theme - and your text will be displayed completely.
Well...I thought I had posted it to some demo...seems to have ended up on this site. The text does not fully display on my site neither does it give me an option to view hidden text. When I click to edit the post the entire text is displayed...just not displayed in view mode.
Posted to the demo. It seems to have posted there however it does not with mine.
The second part of Arsalan's question is still unanswered:
> Did you try it on the the demo website ? http://demo.opensource-socialnetwork.org/ ?
If you're running into the same problem there, please make the file of text available on Github or somewhere else for us to download.
I should also add that if I click to edit the post the entire text shows. There is nothing allowing me to view the entire post when in view mode.
BTW...this was posted in a group.
I'm running 4.2. Here is a screenshot... https://cegsdesk.sytes.net/ossn/sitw.png . I'm not sure how to include a screenshot here other than by URL. This was posted in a group.
And you are sure you did not install any bad word filter? ;)
There is no limit of textbox size in WallPost, did you tried on the fresh installation or the demo website ? http://demo.opensource-socialnetwork.org/
