OSSN error message change, Please advise...

Daniel DeSouza Posted in Technical Support 7 years ago

Hello Support Team,
When my users try to access my OSSN site, sometimes an error message comes up on a white page "A system error has occurred, Please try again later. You may email the details of this error to the system administrator at (my email address)"

How can i change this message? It is sending the wrong message because the simple fix is to refresh the page and the error goes away.

So i would like the message to say something like:
"Oops! Sorry about that...Something went wrong, to fix this error please refresh your page.

Please advise!

Hi Daniel i have seen your email to softlab24 , in error log its written that your 'mysql server gone away' Please see : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7942154/mysql-error-2006-mysql-server-has-gone-away It seems you need to change your mysql configuration.

These errors are critical and you need to find out what exactly is the error, can you take a look into error log file?
