It seems like TextAreaSupport is destroying the formatting of the blog component, how can i prevent that? Also i can't even at all write something new, it show tags like <p> in the final text.

I'm just wondering what is driving you to comment a 4 years old thread that way?
Even more, since the reason for David'S issue was found in the end: He was running an outdated Blog component.

So this guy go no help, you couldn't ask identifying questions. The instructions are not always that clear to everyone. So frustrating.

What other informations do you need? It makes no difference if i add the text plain with no formatting as source text or in normal mode. Is there possibly a way to disable textaresupport only for the blog component?
EDIT: Fixed the problem, my blog component was outdated.
