Alright I tried looking and can’t seem to find an answer. I installed an SSL on my server, which is using virtualmin as the managing panel. Virtualmin and webmail show that the ssl is installed and are redirecting to the https site. However, the main website will not redirect or load the https.
In virtualmin I have it marked to force a redirect (which is the only way I can get the https site to work for virtualmin and webmail), but still can’t get a https connection for my user access. When I updated the htaccess file to add the rewrite rule the site bricks and says there are too many redirects, this remains true if I turn off the virtualmin redirect setting.
Is there another file(s) that need to be edited that are creating the redirect loops?
Cool that fixed it, I searched the forums and couldn't find anything and have been googling for days! Thank you!
