Hello! I did some editing in the code of language in locale folder to add text to my notification Section. My website then shows emojis. There is nothing in error log and so iam not sure what the issue is.

Use your text editor's undo function and revert the changes step by step until the problem disappears. This way you should find the line with the wrong code.
Aside from that: You shouldn't alter Ossn core files anyway because your changes will be overwritten with the next update. In your case I'd recommend to use the Custom Strings component instead.
