I want to create a component similar with news feed that shows specific posts created by the users. I want to have a new tab next to the tabs post,poll,videos and events in home page so the users can create from there the posts for that category. Is anything similar to this all ready exist so i can work with that?

It will require modification of wall component and it will require a more work :)
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
