I was wondering if opensource social network has the option to share videos and live streaming.

This wouldn't be the same as "Live Video" as is used on other social network sites. Live Video is a one way communication where the video being shot is streamed to the service, and members can like, or TEXT comment, in real time. The video converse is two way like a live "chat" it seems. They are two different animals. Live video feeds are a HUGE part of social networking today.
