Checked this and it is the 24 hr rule that is deleting the stories. So no issues. Thank You. Please close this.

Thank You Arsalan. Looks like maybe I am hit by the 24 hr rule (which I didn't knew about) and I was thinking it was disappearing in few hours. Sorry. Let me monitor for 24 hrs and figure this out.

Cron is only to delete files and entries from database. You need to setup cron yourself its not automatic.

I have not setup the cronjob, unless the installation with digital ocean automatically sets this up. Does it?

Arsalan, I am using a Mysql 8 DB. Do we need more information to debug this?

I have not monitored exactly how long it stays and when does it get deleted... I will check more on that. However the stories get created properly, people can see it, but suddenly disappears.

There must be something wrong with your database type.

Same here up to 24 hours, you should check the cron job.

You set up your cron job incorrectly. At least, that would be my guess. Stories stay up for 24 hours on my site..
