How to remove icons from homepage?

I would like to remove the icons that are on the homepage of the site, however, I have not found the page that I should change. I installed OSSN today and I'm getting to know it now.
can anybody help me?

I'm newbie here too. It seems you want to change a theme (or develop a new one). I used these two pages to have an starting point
