hi looking for some help does any one know where i would go to change the telephone column on the signup form from +123456789 to just Mobile:

Change that in langauge file of MobileLogin component

Yes you have to have the component
Login with mobile number installed

Hmm ... my default signup form doesn't even have that +123456789 label, so I'm afraid I'm not able to help you. Sorry.
