Automatic OSSN Updater and Component

Druskus ZoneNations Posted in Component Development 9 months ago

Hi, I wanted to ask, seeing that there is a component that allows you to see the release of component updates, could you think to facilitate the use and automation of OSSN to make a Component Updater of both OSSN and the various components? Do you think this is possible?

Hello,

To install or update components, the admin has to follow the steps
described in
https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/2006/how-to-install-and-update-components

To upgrade OSSN itself, the admin has to follow the steps BeBallPlayers.

I think it is possible to create a component that automates the
installation and update of OSSN and its components, but it would
require some programming skills and knowledge of the OSSN framework. I
can help you with some coding tasks, but I cannot create the component
for you. You can also ask for help or suggestions from the OSSN
community or developers.

Did you tried this solution? Is this was helpful for you or not?
