I think I did something wrong? Who knows how to fix it?
Thanks alot for your tips and explanations.
Basiscally, there's nothing wrong with Winscp. Nevertheless there's always a chance the connection gets interrupted for some reason. And if you ignore the relating error message only part of your file(s) may have been transferred.
Anyway, and to focus on your initial issue and screenshot: Strings like 'news:feed' or 'user:friend' are just placeholders meant to be translated by Ossn by means of a corresponding language file. But if that language file is missing - as it seems in your case - the placeholders stay in place. Thus, again I suspect an incomplete installation to be responsible for your issue. At least the database isn't involved, because - as already said - these translations are not part of the database but kept in numerous static files.
For a more in-depth understand please read https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/2132/how-to-translate-ossn
and use the translation check component https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/component/view/1982/translation-check
I use Winscp. Is that not oké? I dont know. The strangest thing is that I dind't change anything after my last question here. After some time I logged in on my site on my mobile and the problem was gone? And after that the problem is also gone on when I look on my pc. https://ibb.co/dbJmfTn There seems to be a sort of mismatch in the database? Or is it normal that it takes 30 minutes to implement a new database? There seems to be some sort of delay. Thanks for your concern.
What file transfer utility are you using?
Maybe it does incomplete transfers, because you are running into all kind of uncommon issues:
kun je de site eens delen, en aangeven wat je precies wilt. Wel tekst of niet tekst zichtbaar.
Die module is dan site op prive zetten, of openbaar
can you share the site, and indicate what exactly you want. Text or no text.
That module is then set site to private, or public
I don't know when it started. I installed some components to try them out. And suddenly this happened. And strangely enough, I did a complete reinstall of OSSN, new database etc but still words show up in wrong places? https://ibb.co/jyx876D
If you please tell us first what you did, there's a much better chance we can tell what you did wrong.
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
