I setup OSSN so far everything seems like its working well. I'm unclear on how email is supposed to get setup? Do I need to setup an email server on this server as well? I searched all the admin pages and dont see any email setup options. Is it auto detected from the local server? Or am i missing the process entirely?

@Matas, Can you explain exactly what you meant? If your signup emails are not working then it seems it issue in your email server, make sure you are running SMTP server and php mail.

I have been asking for this feature, this way you can contact the site users (members) with ease.
But till now, it seems it is going to be released on next components release.
Please sally let's wait for it, and you should be checking your mail periodically

I urgently need this feature, too. If you have a forum then the members must be informed by notification. Otherwise, nobody comes back....
