OSSN is very slow. takes about 10 minutes before he loaded the page. I use a Synology DS214+.

Yes cache should be enabled to enhance website speed.

1.) Make sure your server have at least 2GB dedicated RAM.
2.) Make sure you have enabled cache in yoursite.com/administrator/cache
