A component allowing members to create simple blogs in your social network.
Note: Blog requires Textarea Support to be installed and enabled, first.
For your convenience, all Ossn default language files are already in place, but (except of the English and German one) still need translation.

When I want create a blog jump a red text, it says: "Can not create blog."
How I can solve this problem?
Thanks for your suggestions, David.
They have been implemented with V 2.4 now.
Also a last edited date next to author would be good.
I'm using this component and so far it's amazing, it would be nice if you could sort the blogs maybe by author.
My thanks go to Bryce and Cody for Beta testing and inspiring feature requests.
I have added a pull request to add tinymce support using the new TextareaSupport component. In order for my pull request to work, you have to have that component installed first.
If this had the same abilities as tumbl blogs where it posted to the activity feed and the ability to add video and pictures with color that was easy for people without pc skills. This component would be one of the most important. Just a thought
We need to be anle to add image to blog. Is there a way to add ckeditor to it.
This is a great little add-on. Is there anyway of showing the 'blogs' listed in the newsfeed bar as well, in a similar way it is done for 'groups'?
In the theme I have set the 'blog menu' to expand on default, by using $expend = 'in'; . What I just need now is have the list of 'blogs' there too.
Many thanks for any help you can give.
I recommend all developers, inluding core team developers, create github repositories for their open source plugins. That way we can all work on making plugins better and submit pull requests, with feature improvements, bug fixes, and documentation upgrades.
I also recommemd that OSSN add a field to their plugin submission page for their github project url.
