Zet,
I check out your website and the welcome is still in the
Meta title of your site
You have
Games:4:two:welcome for your meta title

Sincerely,
Eric

Well,
if you have a look at http://games.z-mans.net/ you'll notice the default "Welcome" has been changed to "Dear google crawler, please create a No.1 index for this super SEO friendly site named"

So, how did I make it?

I simply followed the advice Arsalan gave two weeks ago ( take a look at : https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/1137/how-to-find-something-a-word-pattern-in-the-source-code),
started my Notepad++, did a case-sensitive search for "Welcome", and got 2 hits:

Line 14:    'site:index' => 'Welcome',
Line 20:    'home:top:heading' => "Welcome to %s!<br> [Ossn 4.4.1.....

And since the first one appears to be the right one, I exchanged the 'Welcome' for the text string I already mentionend in the beginning, saved my work, refreshed the browser, and that was that.

Arsalan,

I did exactly was you told me on the meta title and it doesn't work
themes/yourtheme/plugins/default/theme/page/page.php you can
see <title></title> tag there

I put it where you told me and it appear on the top front page of the
site by the logo but It doesn't appear on the title, we should have a
simple component that does this , most site use a site name plus a meta
Description for the home page.

Sincerely,
Eric Garcia

Arsalan ,
I was talking about the site title name, there's a welcome next
to the site name on the Home page title and I am in the right
thread....the question is in reference to seo, meta Title, I feel like
every time that I ask a question , I get the run around.

Hello Eric, Please keep thread separate for separate thing, take a look at : https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/1137/how-to-find-something-a-word-pattern-in-the-source-code

@Luca
Did you ever try to open a link like
YOURSITE/messages/all
or
YOURSITE/home
without being logged in?

You would get a 'page not found' error then or you will be redirected to your frontpage.
Okay, and since a crawling robot CANNOT log in to your site, it will get the same results.
Thus, including a #whatevertag into your text or not will make no difference.

If you use #keyword in your messages does it improve the SEO?

I am using it but I do not know if it is an effective tactic like on other social networks. In fact, #keyword is not blue so it is not a link, it shall not have any value for search engines

Arsalan,

I will try what you mentioned in your previous post but basically I
Was talking about the home page , I know that it's pretty much
Impossible to change the core title of every pages in a social media
Website because it was designed with a certain function and that
Would totally mess up the whole site.

Thanks,
Eric
