Hi, suppose you have 5000 groups, 5000 walls, etc, so its not possible to implement a component that changes the title for 10000 pages. The only way is to use the friendly title for SEO, like WEBSITE : PAGE TITLE or PAGE TITLE | WEBSITE NAME and you can change via the the mentioned step in my second last reply.

I don't see changing title for every page effects the SEO, as the search engine take look for the page contents , keywords. If you visit any group profile on facebook it shows like PAGE NAME - Facebook similar ossn does. If you read about title for SEO, that probably is for img tags not for page title.

Right now i am unable to think a way to to change title for already created pages, using some component.

I suggest you to focus more on website contents, and other SEO stuff, you can use the SEO tools. more traffic you have you seo will automatically increases.

I understand but why we can't just make a change to the old component
That will also provide a place for the meta title like yoast Seo , I have
The premium version of the software and I plan to used it on my site
For a long time.

I want the name of the site to be different from the title name because
If I change the name of the site then it will appear every where on the
site as the name of the site.

The site name is included with every website page of OSSN, you can there for try to change your website name to something like WEBSITE NAME : Join our social network and meet new people's
so when you load some page that have own title it appears as : SOMEPAGE : WEBSITE NAME : Join our social network and meet new people's

Alternatively the title can be changed in themes/yourtheme/plugins/default/theme/page/page.php you can see <title></title> tag there.

Every other platform have this capability , I don't see why we haven't

Currently the title tag is computed automatically like
PAGENAME : SITENAME
which makes sense.
What kind of site are you running that needs a completely different title tag?

We willy need a new meta data component, we need to be able
to add title,why did he create a component without the ability
to put a title instead of just having the site name ,can somebody
Please help us out and make a new component similar to yoast seo
without the proper tools Our site is useless.
