Stupid me: I didn't read your first report carefully and didn't realize you were addressing the fullscreen mode of the EDITOR. Just read 'fullscreen' and was focused to the browser in fullscreen mode. Thank you for insisting to have a second look, Ranjan.

fixed with 1.7 now.

Z-index fix works well for me on linux, but I am not sure this fix will work on other platform or not, because I don't have windows or mac to test.

Is the position can not be changed to the middle so it looks good?

German Michael Zülsdorff Replied 5 years ago

Simple answer: Because I devoloped GreenByGreen to look like that. :)

(and actually I don't see any concerns in regards to safety)

why on the login page it looks like this? if using the Mobile display it's safe but on a desktop display like that.

Ranjan,
I'm almost sure that your issue was caused by fucntion which is still not supported by some browsers (maybe you updated your own one in the meantime? ...)
Anyway, 1.6 comes with a more compatible replacement now.

Hmm ... honestly this doesn't make too much sense to me ...

as both are fixed elements and a z-index > 0 only guarantees they won't get overlapped by anything else. Thus 1, 5, 100 or 1000 doesn't make a difference here.

Even more your screenshot shows, both elements DO stay in place as intended, but the remaining screens looks somewhat strange.

That said: can you still reproduce that odd screen with z-index 1000?

in Ranjan Rai Replied 5 years ago

Thanks Zetman for fixing those issue, I am able to fix the 3rd issue by just changing the z-index values to 1 from 1000 for the topbar and sidebar, I am not sure with this fix does it will work on every platform or every brousers or not, but for me on my linux box under firefox it is working.

Hi Ranjan,
1 and 2 are fixed with the 1.5 release.

I can't reproduce your add-blog page issue though ...
maybe a Safari special ... (I don't own an Apple to verify)

or maybe a special workflow or interferences with other components ...

So please disable any components that don't start with "Ossn....", except of TextareaSupport and Blogs. Then log off and in again and list all steps to make the issue occur.

Does it depend on the screen width? if yes, how many pixels is your screenwidth then?
